Why this site exists

Every router ships with a management interface, and almost none of them ship with instructions a normal person can follow. The address is printed in six-point type on a sticker underneath the unit, the manual is a PDF nobody keeps, and the search results are a wall of near-identical pages that were written to rank rather than to help. This site is an attempt at the opposite: one clear answer per question, written out properly, with the caveats included.

The domain itself is a mistake people make. 10.0.0.0.1 has one number group too many to be a valid IPv4 address, so it never loads anything. Rather than leave that dead end unexplained, we use it as the front door: explain the typo, point at 10.0.0.1, and then cover everything you would reasonably want to do once you are inside the panel.

How these guides are put together

• Written from the interface, not from other articles. Menu paths, labels and default values come from the manufacturer documentation and the panels themselves, not from copying whatever the current top result says.
• Version-aware. Router firmware moves. Where a setting has been renamed or relocated between firmware generations, we say so instead of pretending there is one universal path.
• Honest about defaults. Published default credentials are a starting point. The label on your specific unit always overrides a table on a website, and we say that on every page that carries one.
• Security first. Any guide that gets you into an admin panel also tells you what to lock down before you leave it. Router hardening is the part everyone skips.

What we do not do

We do not host firmware, we do not publish credential dumps for specific customer devices, and we do not explain how to access networks you do not own. Everything here assumes the router in question is yours or that you administer it with permission.

Firmware updates break instructions. If a menu path here no longer matches what you see, tell us which model and firmware version you are on and we will fix the page. Use the contact form.
